How to properly place electrodes for knee pain? A step-by-step guide
Physical therapy and microcurrent therapy with MESOFORM THERAPEUTIC are excellent tools for relieving pain and restoring joint mobility. But for the procedure to yield maximum benefit, it's important to place the electrodes correctly.
Together with an expert, we've outlined a simple and straightforward algorithm for using the device at home. Bookmark it so you don't lose it!
📋 Step-by-step instructions
1. Preparing the electrodes. Take two electrodes—a gray one and a black one. Apply a special conductive (comes with the package) gel to each. Remember: there must be enough gel to ensure proper contact with the skin.
2. Locating the pain zone. Find the point on the knee where the pain is most pronounced.
3. Attaching the gray electrode. Place the gray electrode directly on the pain zone (or as close as possible to the source of discomfort).
4. Securing the Black Electrode. The black electrode is attached symmetrically to the gray one, on the opposite side of the knee joint.
5. Secure Fixation. Gel alone is not enough to hold the electrodes in place. To ensure the electrodes fit snugly and do not shift during the procedure, use the special fixation strap included with the device. If you don't have one handy, a regular elastic bandage will do the job temporarily.
>
Main Rule: Place the gray electrode on the center of the pain, and the black one symmetrically on the other side of the joint.
>
The procedure should be comfortable and painless. Be healthy and take care of your joints!
